The Benefits Of Drinking Coffee While Working Each Day [Infographic]

I’m convinced that sometimes the only way to truly learn about something is to experience it. It may be possible to find information about anything on the Internet, but that doesn’t mean we can always learn what’s best from the Internet. The harmful effects vs. the benefits of drinking coffee is one of those things. So many people have such different opinions that it’s something each person has to determine individually.

One thing is certain when it comes to this topic – and that is that there is a bond between working and drinking coffee. A couple years ago we featured an article about the Health Benefits Of Drinking Coffee. It pointed out that people who drink coffee (versus tea and other drinks) tend to be less likely to develop Alzheimer’s disease and heart disease. Supposedly coffee also helps prevent type 2 Diabetes, and it helps to protect the liver against liver cancer.

Of course, there is a long list of problems associated with drinking coffee too. One of our guest writers, Ben Warner, wrote about his personal experience in an article called The Downside To Drinking Coffee: One Workaholic’s Experience. However, in this article I’m writing today I am focusing on the benefits of drinking coffee.

This infographic called the Bond Between Work And Coffee (by Zoho Blogs) caught my attention because it points out even more benefits that I wasn’t aware of, and they specifically focus on your work environment. It’s obvious that coffee gives us a little ‘pick me up’ when we start the workday, but I had no idea that it could help ease the pain of working at a desk and lower the risk of illness in older workers. So the next time you feel guilty about having that second cup of coffee in the morning, just remember this article. There may be more benefits to drinking coffee than you realize.
