12 Hilariously Bizarre Yet Real Customer Service Queries [Infographic]

It’s Friday, and most of us were ready to start our weekend yesterday, if you know what I mean. For most people, a perfect day is a day without problems. Unfortunately, that’s sometimes not the way things turn out when you buy something or when something decides to completely crunk out. If you are not a savvy technology adopter, it can be hard to diagnose errors, and you’ll eventually have to call customer service. The service queries those people receive range from quirky to hilarious on a daily basis.

We have all heard about the legendary customer service queries that seem to be too good to be true, and in most cases, they are. But when we start looking at the real questions these dedicated people receive, we quickly understand that reality and fiction might not be that far apart after all. Being clueless is not a bad thing by any means, but when it comes to some of the customer service queries asked, you have to wonder what goes on in the minds of the people who brutally trash what most people would call common sense.

I was thinking, because it’s Friday and all, maybe we should add a little humor to complete this day so the weekend can start. It comes in the form of an infographic called 12 Bizarre Customer Service Queries, and it is presented by Workbooks. After you’ve had a look at this infogtraphic, I wouldn’t doubt if you feel just a tad smarter. Some of these customer service queries are not only amusing, but also blatantly unearthly.

It’s easy to think these customer service queries originate out of pure lack of intelligence or knowledge, but that’s really not what it is. It’s the lack of common sense that is the humorous part. The fact that someone would call customer support and ask for Jack’s number is one of the funniest customer service queries I have seen to date. I mean, one can start to wonder at what point people decide common sense isn’t a good thing to keep and maintain. Do you have any other funny customer service stories you could share with us? Bring them on!
