What Is Money Button? [Quick Review]

In short, Money Button (now part of Fabriik) is a completely non-custodial wallet, so only you control the use and personal information, where you can access the BSV blockchain and store your BSV digital assets. It’s a peer-to-peer payment system as well, simply enter a paymail address and push the button. Done. Receiving payments is easier. Provide the sender with your paymail address and boom! Money received. All completely traceable with the immutable timestamping on the blockchain.

Money Button also does quite a bit more than just send and receive payments. It integrates advanced scripts, apps, cryptographic data management, currency conversion, and paymail to name a few. Probably one of the most used features is funding your Money Button wallet using a credit card via Coinify. Once loaded, you can use those funds to enjoy apps like Pow Ping, Twetch and Tonic Pow. It’s fast, simple, and secure.

What Are Some Of The Features Of Money Button?

  • No need to remember difficult key words and phrases. Simply log in with your paymail address and password.
  • Fully non-custodial wallet so users retain full control over their wallet keys and apps.
  • Fast, inexpensive, and simple to use payment system that requires nothing more than the swipe of a button.
  • The ability for anyone to create a payment button for use on a website for fast and secure payments.
  • Token protocol support that allows developers to use the Money Button API to create, send, and receive tokens.
  • Invisible Money Button API allows developers to request permission to swipe automatically on behalf of users from within web apps.
  • Ability to create an “Own Your Data” app to encrypt and keep your data private as well as monetize it. Opt-in or opt-out from social media platforms that make money from your data.
  • Handcash and Money Button now provide true peer-to-peer transactions simply using the paymail address.

This is not meant to be an all-inclusive list of the features of Money Button. It is continually growing and evolving thanks to the scalability of the BSV blockchain to which it is built upon. Regardless of what changes are implemented or new features are added, they will always be designed with the end-user in mind. It’s a very complex platform on the back end with a user interface that is easy enough for a 9-year-old to understand and use.
