For the most part, there are two different kinds of stickers in the world. One is the cheesy kind that we’re given as children which usually just end up in a really big mess or on pieces of paper that eventually make their way into the recycle bin.
The other kind is the cool kind of stickers that we many times don’t fully appreciate until we’re adults. Examples of this kind include these Star Wars Family Car Stickers and this Sticker Art created with thousands of colored dot stickers. Yesterday when I was checking out some different ads for zoos online, I found this “Meet A Giraffe” sticker ad (below) placed on a streetlight, which advertised the San Francisco Zoo.
That sticker ad, which is several years old, definitely made an impact on people since it’s still popular even today. It got me thinking about what other clever and creative stickers have been used over the years for PSAs and advertising. What I found was a collection of stickers that changed my whole perspective about what a simple sticker can convey. The message in each one of these is pretty obvious, and I think they prove that stickers can be very handy to get your marketing message across.
