The original Toy Story movie will always hold a special place in my heart. I remember it was the first time I ever saw a Disney animated movie that I really liked. I watched it over and over, and each time I laughed and cried. Buzz Lightyear was always my favorite character. He lived in his own little fantasyland, and I can relate to that.
I found a website this week, and I really wish I could credit the place I found it. It was one of those days when I was just clicking-clicking-clicking away… and there it was. It’s called You’re Mocking Me Aren’t You. It’s a blog that features Buzz Lightyear illustrations from the biggest Buzz Lightyear fan on the planet, James Kennison. He updates his blog often, and it’s always with a different Buzz Lightyear interpretation. He’s created some of the most fabulous Buzz Lighyear mods (if you can call them that) I’ve ever seen.
He’s made Buzz Lighyear from a stencil, from a ballpoint pen, and even from French fries. On his blog, you can see a picture of him, his wife, and his two children. I betcha he’s the coolest daddy ever (well, aside from my dad of course). You can see his entire collection by visiting his site.
