When I was younger, we use to collect bottle caps and play games with them. We used them as Chinese checker pieces. That was the only way we could creatively use bottle caps in those days. When you drink a soda or a beer, the first thing you do with the bottle cap is throw it away. It’s a natural reaction.
With Earth day fast approaching, people are becoming more and more aware of how we can all contribute. I found some inspiring designs and works of art made using ordinary bottle caps. They are quite amazing. Imagine the size of a bottle cap, they are really small and yet these artists were able to create some interesting and intricate designs on them.
Some of the bottle cap designs were also turned into trinkets, a necklace pendant, a tiny basket and even a chess piece. What a great idea if you ask me. You can even turn the art into a business. Maybe the next time you drink your favorite soda or beer, you can collect the caps and then recycle them into beautiful art! Maybe you have other ideas that you can share with us here. We would like to know them!
