Delicious Cartoon Stained Glass-Styled Art Illustrations

I have a question. What do you do or where do you go on the Internet in order to get inspiration? What turns your cogs, if you will? Everyone of course has different places and different ways of acquiring inspiration, and of course no way is wrong. Whatever makes your day into a creative one when you need it to be is probably a good way, wouldn’t you say? I have a ton of websites I go to in order to fill up my inspiration vial before I get to work on a design or even code. It’s a great way to get perspective and tap into the things that are new and fresh. Even though you are on the edge of things, you can’t drive the whole area forward by yourself. It’s a collective effort, and that’s just how it will continue to be.

Every now and then you find something that completely side-swipes you which makes you wonder how the heck this person came up with their approach to the subject in the first place. As I said earlier, we all get inspiration from different places and things. Mandie Manzano is one of those people who totally reinvents the inspiration approach as we know it. Maybe she doesn’t reinvent it, but her work is something out of the ordinary and deserves a huge feature and the spotlight.

The way Mandie sees it is through stained glass, and her illustrations are some of the most inspiring you will see. She has taken some of the most memorable characters in the cartoon world and created stained glass-styled illustrations that would fit perfectly into any church with the theme of lifting forward the cartoon in us all, or something like that. Even though they are not legit stained glass creations, these certainly are mighty impressive. I am sure that at some time in the future someone will take these and actually make the stained glass windows that they all deserve to become. I am severely impressed by these, and the way they are perfected.
