How To: Create A Glossy Effect In Photoshop

The glossy effect is one of the most used effects on the Internet, and it’s catching on more and more. What is always funny to me is that you see that glossy effect everywhere, but people don’t know how to make it. So the question is really, is someone doing them all or are there just a few people keeping this secret to themselves? Shouldn’t this be common knowledge by now? There are a few tutorials on this glossy effect around the web, but they always seem quite long and time consuming.

In this video Photoshop tutorial, you will learn how to create that super cool and fashionable glossy effect in three different ways. Each one has it’s own character to it, and each one is super simple to achieve. Hopefully this will bring a lot of creativity to you since there is much room for ideas and adjustments.

Don’t be intimidated by the 7 minute long clip because it doesn’t even take  close to 7 minutes to create these glossy effects. It takes more like 30 seconds each. However, the creator and author of this tutorial makes sure you know what you are doing, which is a great thing. So let your creativity loose and update that design you’ve been dreading over!
