Junk Art by Gabriel Dishaw

Another man’s junk maybe another man’s treasure holds true for artist Gabriel Dishaw. He does sculptures from found objects.

What is Junk Art? Junk Art is a three-dimensional art made from discarded material (as metal, mortar, glass, or wood). The artist truly takes time in re creating the wonderful work of art. He puts together computer parts, bolts, metal, wire etc. I believe his favorite art to work on is the classic rubber shoes. He painstakenly recreated a pair of Nike’s.

Every detail is carefully considered to make sure that the art he produces is something work looking at. Creativity truly has no bounds. With lots of imagination and ingenuity one can truly consider this a work of art.
