Patrick Jean’s latest film, produced by One More Production, is all about a New York Invasion by pixilated 8-bit creatures including classic gaming icons from Space Invaders, Pacman, Tetris, Donkey Kong, Frogger and more.
I remember being a child and saving my quarters to spend on these old school games. They were all such a huge part of my childhood, and I wish I could share them with my own son, but to him, it’s all about Mario Kart and Super Mario Galaxy on Wii. He will never appreciate the classic games like I do, and I guess that is just one of the special gifts for being in my generation.
Simply called “Pixels,” this mind-blowing animation will leave you craving more. The original movie, found on http://www.onemoreproduction.com received over 1 million views in less than 24 hours. Of course, some people say this makes reference to 911, others say it is a sign of what is to come in 2012. I just think it’s a brilliant animation and a fun story, nothing more. How cool would it be if the world really ends in the cube of the Transformers?
