Stair Porn: A Collection Of Creative & Inspiring Staircases

There are so many inspiring things in the world around us that I think we sometimes take for granted, or at least I do. Of course there are a million miracles in nature right outside the backdoor, but there are also very stunning designs inside that are easy to overlook when we get busy in our daily lives.

Staircases are a perfect example of that. There are some designers who spend years designing what they think is the perfect staircase. Some of the staircases in buildings in downtown Atlanta where I live are enough to take your breath away. The first time I wrote about staircase designs was a year ago when I published 12 Stylish Staircases. Some of those are still my favorites today.

I wanted to share a website with you, and if you are also inspired by staircase designs, you’ll love this. It’s called Stair Porn. It’s a site where anyone can snap a picture of an inspiring staircase when they see it, and upload it to share with the world. They have glass stairs, floating stairs, metal stairs, concrete stairs, spiral stairs, and many more. I put a few staircases I found on the website here for your inspiration. The last picture below is of the roller coaster that is basically just a huge staircase.
