I love it when artists find a way to incorporate the life lessons they’ve learned through their experiences into creative illustrations and visuals. An example of this is in the article In A Perfect World: Life’s Daily Annoyances Illustrated.
Another artist who creates “life illustrations” is Alex Noriega. On his blog he writes, “At some point in 2010 I was going through a crisis due to some issues at work. I decided to start this blog as a way of trying to find what I was doing wrong. I wanted to put on paper all that I had learned in life as simple as possible and try to see if what was happening around me made any sense. It didn’t.”
Each one of these is so true, and just like the title states, Stuff No One Told Me, these are things that nobody tells us in life. They are the kind of lessons that we have to learn on our own through our own experiences. Life doesn’t come with a manual, but these illustrations can point us in the right direction. You can learn more about Alex and see his full collection of fun art at Stuff No One Told Me.
