Few could have missed that I, me, moi am a heavy (which is an understatement) drinker of tea. I probably consume about 2 litres of tea each day if not more. I have dozens and dozens of teas at home and at the office that give me the choice to have whatever flavor I might be in the mood for. I like all the different tastes, but sometimes it’s hard to choose which one I want, the choosing itself bugs me at times.
Tea, for me, is probably like love for the weak-hearted. I, of course, love to love but tea is such an important part of my life that I sometimes forget that it’s just a beverage and not a health potion that I need to drink every now and then in order to finish the mission (projects) that I constantly overstress myself about. Tea works as a mediator between my soul and my brain. When the tea is in front of me, I know everything will be just fine.
I got quite excited when I first found this genius little twist of a calendar that designer Cho Hee Ha created for people that are heavily into tea… just like me and a billion other people around the world. It’s a simple concept but really well thought out. It takes away the brain work of having to choose which tea to drink at least one time a day. What’s even better is that you’ll never know what taste you will get the following day. It’s random, and this way you always get to try something new, even if it is just one time a day… which for some people is frequently enough.
