I have so many artist friends on Twitter who would love this case! We’ve seen a lot of iPhone cases come and go on Bit Rebels, but one type that continues to be popular is the hyper-realistic styled cases. Those are the cases that give you the illusion that something is real when it isn’t. Some examples of hyper-realistic iPhone cases include the Chopped Off Hand Case and the Japanese Unagi Cover. Many times that type of case hovers in the realm of being really weird and bizarre, but this one is different. I’m not even an artist, and I would love to have this iPhone case just because it’s so creative and original.
This is a watercolor set iPhone hard case which fits the iPhone 4 and 4s. To give it an even more realistic look, the watercolors appear to be used, as if they’ve really been used to paint a masterpiece. As you can see, even some of the colors have dabs of other colors on them, which always happens to me when I use watercolors and a paintbrush.
I can’t stop wondering how someone would ever think to create this. As odd as it may seem, it was obviously a brilliant idea, and it makes a beautiful case which will definitely be different from everyone else’s. You wouldn’t need any other bling for your iPhone if you use this case. Each one of these is handmade in an artist’s studio. You can find them in CRAFIC‘s etsy store for $18. It’s a small price to pay for something so unique.
