Designing and programming a website is a time consuming process that sometime gets unbalanced depending on how much influence the sole designer has on its creation. Too much freedom for the designer can sometimes create a website that doesn’t have much in common with the actual brand and/or company that the website is meant to promote. This can usually be avoided by bringing in more opinions in to the planning and framing of the website.
I am fanatically interested in the ideas and guidelines that are there for us designers to follow if we just open our eyes and ears to the possibilities made available by adding a few opinions to the mix. I was thinking about this agenda and started searching for a few good pointers. Here is a small collection of clips that might help you take better decisions next time you are planning your client product or company website.
