Angry Birds: The Movie (Trailer)

I don’t know which is more fun to read about, the fact that a full-length film could conceivably be based on an app, or that Rooster Teeth was able to make this look exactly like a Michael Bay movie. Of course, the whole thing is a spoof.

It’s cute to see some of the comments on the Internet about it. It’s actually done so well that some people think it’s real. And, hey, if you are still an Angry Birds addict, don’t be ashamed. According to Common Sense Media, you can consider it an educational game because it “requires logic, strategy, a basic understanding of speed, momentum, gravity and trajectory.”

Scientists, developers and other really smart people call Angry Birds a physics based trajectory app. Hmm… to me, it’s a slingshot game. As simple as it may be, there is a very real chance that Angry Birds could win Game of the Year from the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences. If you haven’t played it yet, statistics show it’s because you don’t hardly play any games on your smartphone at all. I keep hearing about Tiny Wings. I read another article about it on CNET a week ago. I think that’s my next download. Apparently you use the hills as jumps and fly really fast. If it’s any good, you’ll hear about it.
