Everything Is A Remix: All Of Kill Bill’s References [Video]

It should come as no surprise to anyone who is a movie freak that most movies released today are just a remix of something that has already been released before. It might not be completely clear to you what movie or what scene it is from, but the pattern can be found in pretty much any newly released movie. Even music is recycled through the years, and what our parents listened to when they were young is the same thing kids are listening to today; however, it’s a little bit more updated. All the elements are there, and if you just open your mind to it, you shall see it quite easily. It is when things are copied that you can really tell something has been… remixed and used again for our viewing pleasure.

Let’s take the movie Kill Bill for example. I have to admit, I have never seen the movie; therefore, I am not going to say much about it as a critic, but people are saying it is the shizzle and that’s by the truckload. So, even though I haven’t seen it, it is when I have a look at this “Everything Is A Remix” video by Rob G. Wilson that I really understand how things can be recycled in movies seemingly over and over again.

It’s a known fact that Quentin Tarantino has a foot fetish, and that is of course shown in this video, but you will be surprised to see just how much of Kill Bill that is recycled from other movies. It’s insane, and sometimes it’s just a pure rip-off that somehow slipped out of our minds. Maybe it’s deliberately done, but could you really base a whole movie from picking scenes of other movies and carefully patching them together to create a new one? Well, as it seems, it’s quite possible, and with freakishly successful results as well. Enjoy!
