Foot Darts – When Soccer Meets Darts

I have never been too much of a soccer fan. The only time that I am watching the sport is when it is the finals in the World Championship or possibly the Olympics. Not too much of a Darts fan either to be honest. I have tried both. However, these traditional sports never actually gave me a lasting impression. For some, these sports is everything they live for. But now, there’s an even cooler game that has spawned from there two sports. I am talking about Foot Darts!

This new “sport” is gaining traction in the world, and it has started to get covered a lot in media as well. So much that it’s about to go viral. Why? Because it is one of those sports that is incredibly fun to practice. [pullquote]Foot Darts is a combination of soccer and darts all rolled into one.[/pullquote]

You take the kikcing from soccer and then apply it to a huge dart board. It is literally as simple as that! Now all you have to do is to try hit the bullseye. The rules are simple as well. They are pretty much the same as the ones used in Darts. Some sports are just too much fun not to go viral around the world. Foot Darts is one of those mesmerizing games.

In the video below you can check out a few people practicing. Looks like a lot of fun, right? It might look easy, but you have to remember that kicking the balls with precision enough to hit the bullseye is not the easiest of tasks. However, as you can see in the video, it’s not impossible. As with any sport, the more you practice, the better you will get.

I tried to learn more about the sport, but it looks like it’s too new to have a Wikipedia page. If anyone knows who “invented” the game, please let us know. Also, is this something that you could see yourself practice? Let us know in the comment section below.
