Sara AlRoshoud: From Single Mother To Regards, A Trailblazing Talent Redefining Cinema

Sara AlRoshoud captivated audiences at the Hollywood Arab Film Festival with her role as lead actor and executive producer of Single Mother. The film, which tells a touching story of unexpected connections and familial bonds, has received critical acclaim.

It follows a group of diverse individuals who discover they are siblings at a funeral. Sara’s portrayal of the eldest sibling stands out for its intensity and emotional depth, earning her admiration from both attendees and critics.

Single Mother also entered The Palm Springs International ShortFest film market, which was held in June. ShortFest features the largest short film festival and market in North America. Sara grew up with resilience; she moved to Cairo, Egypt, at seven years old during the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait. Later, she resided in Madrid, Spain, and London, UK. Despite the difficulties, Sara pursued her education and obtained a B.A. in Information Systems from Kuwait University and an M.S. in Human Resource Management from Florida International University.

Born in Kuwait, Sara has steadily made her mark in the film industry, both in front of and behind the camera. Her performances in Random Check and Single Mother, along with her upcoming work in Regards, showcase her versatility and dedication, establishing her as a star in filmmaking.
