Top 10 Most Expensive Casino Buildings In The World [Infographic]

If you have ever been to Las Vegas, you know that it’s an outstanding experience, whether you gamble or not. The scenery is astounding, and there are very few places on the planet where you can see such a fantastic architectural wealth. Most of them are, of course, casino buildings that boggle the mind and inspires the lifestyle of the rich and famous. You can see everything from multi-billion dollar hotels shaped like pyramids or casino buildings that would make any city look pale in comparison.

In this article, we are going to list the top 10 most expensive casino buildings in the world with the help of an infographic called “The Most Expensive Casino Buildings” created by Casinority. It would be quite an interesting experiment guessing what these buildings cost to build should we not already know their price. So, let’s have a dive into the list and marvel over the insane cash spent on the entertainment centers that could rival any online casino.

If you are looking for an online casino worthy to be mentioned in the same breath as these amazing casino buildings, you can find expert opinions on RightCasino. Visiting a real casino is an experience in itself and should, in our view, be something that everyone should at least do once in their lifetime. However, there are of course also live casino websites available to you 24/7 online. Sure, you might not get the amazing architectural experience you would get at a real casino, but the experience is not so far off.

Starting at the bottom of the list, the Wynn casino in Macau that opened in 2006 is estimated to have cost $1.2 billion to construct. A staggering amount of money to be spent on a building, don’t you think? It’s 205,000 square feet in size and it has 1,000 rooms and suites.

Moving up the list a bit to number 5 and we find The Palazzo in Macau. Estimated to have cost $2.4 billion, The Palazzo opened up for business at the end of 2007 and is roughly half the size of the Wynn casino with its 105,000 square feet. Though it is smaller than Wynn, The Palazzo holds an insane 3,065 rooms and suites.

If we have a look at the top spot, we quickly travel to Las Vegas, where most of the ultra expensive casino buildings are. The top spot is currently held by Citycenters in Las Vegas and is estimated to have cost a staggering $8.5 billion to complete. The 5,900 rooms and suites along with 2,400 residences fit cuddly on 150,000 square feet. It opened up for business in late 2009 and is one of the most successful casinos in the world.

So, whether you want to have the on-site experience for your casino adventure or not, have a look at the other amazing casino buildings in the infographic below and marvel at the insane amount of money casino owners spend to make their visitors enjoy themselves while they try to hit it big. One can only imagine what it would be like to hit the jackpot in one of these incredible establishments. Enjoy!
