Custom Made Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Chairs You’d Want To Sit On

If you are a fan of the teenage mutant ninja turtles like I am, you are going to love these custom chairs. They look like they are all ready to go for a competitive game of musical chairs. I didn’t know this until today, but every Friday the TMNT Facebook page features fan art. Recently they featured these reupholstered kitchen chairs that were created to resemble Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michaelangelo.

If you look closely, you can see what these chairs looked like before the transformation. I think any TMNT fan or ’80s fan would agree that these chairs look a lot better the way they are now than how they looked before. The guy who is responsible for this chair transformation is Brad Moore. He reupholstered each one for an exhibition in August so unfortunately they are one-offs. He just gave them away through a contest on his Facebook page.

I suppose if you have four matching retro chairs somewhere in your attic or basement, and if you know a thing or two about reupholstering, you could make some of these for yourself. I have a feeling turning four chairs into four teenage mutant ninja turtles may be harder than it looks though.

Before seeing these, I would have never imagined that chairs could be turned into characters. It makes me wonder what other geeky characters a set of kitchen chairs could be turned into. How about a few Pokémon or even some classic superheroes? Imagine a kitchen table where all chairs are Justice League members. If nothing else, it would be fun to do for a kid’s birthday party. It’s chair cosplay…yeah, I’m getting carried away now. I hope you enjoy these teenage mutant ninja turtles chairs as much as I did!
