Etch-A-Sketch Belt Buckle Provides A Different Kind Of Fun

My theory is – Why carry something around in your hands if you can attach it to your body in another way? It makes sense to me. This Etch-A-Sketch belt buckle was created with that in mind, and I could totally get into this. My only question is, if your friend wants to play with it, doesn’t that mean he might get a little bit too close to there? I guess there are pros and cons to everything, and I haven’t decided whether that’s a pro or a con.

This mini Etch-A-Sketch is actually incorporated into the belt buckle itself. I’ve written about a lot of belt buckle designs over the years, but I think this one is definitely the most useful because who uses belts to actually keep up their pants anymore? On second thought, this belt buckle made from a computer mouse might be a tad bit more useful since you never know when you might need an extra mouse, but I’ve digressed.

This very entertaining Etch-A-Sketch buckle was created by Etsy user If Industries, and it’s available in his store for $80. According to Etsy, it’s a “handmade copper belt buckle with fully functional focal-point. Draw away boredom in two-dimensional nostalgic blissfulness. An extreme x and y rendering environment allows you to create endless analog geometry on the go!” I like the sound of that.

I put a few of his other belt buckles below for your enjoyment too. There is one made from a broken NES console, which comes complete with functioning red lights. Now you can get some 1up action going on in your pants. The last one shown will also make retro gamers smile. The Etch-A-Sketch belt buckle is my favorite though. Love it! All of these are one-of-a-kind, and you can pick them up in the If Industries Etsy Store. I wonder if there would be a way to put a working Pac-Man or Galaga on a belt buckle. Hmm…
