For Hipster Wannabes: The Hipster Style Starter Kit

From what I’ve seen, a lot of the hipster persona is wrapped up in hipster style, and the once illusive and very stereotypical description of a hipster is finally starting to become clear to me. One thing I still find strange is that geeks are usually proud to be geeks, and we wear that label with pride, but it’s very different for hipsters. I’ve never met a hipster who describes him or herself as a hipster, so a lot is left to the imagination. Maybe that will change in another decade or two when hipster style has evolved a bit more. The whole hipster concept is still in the infancy stage, so we’ll see if it was all just a trendy fad or if it’s here to stay.

Just yesterday I wrote an article called Hipster Style Illustrated On A Funny Credit Card Bill which showcased the classic hipster look. Today I have something even better for you though. For all you hipster wannabes, I’ve got the Hipster Starter Kit. This kit comes complete with everything you need to sport some true hipster style. This is one of those cute concept designs that I wish so much was real. Designer Mihael Miklosic from Croatia created this with his own craft paper in his home studio. Since this doesn’t really exist, it’s not for sale anywhere, but it sure is fun to look at. I’m hoping Santa Claus will bring me that white rainbow retro Polaroid camera. I spotted it on Amazon. What a classic!
