How To: Build Your Own Functional Super Mario Coin Block

Today it seems like everyone is trying to save a buck here and there. Since the economic recession started, we’ve become a little bit more aware of how we spend our money, and how we save it. Making money today isn’t any more complex or difficult than it was before the economic meltdown, but the game has changed slightly and you will have to make sure you adapt to the new rules that have been set up. Sometimes we really want it all to be easy though. What if money really were growing on trees, and what if there were fountains of coins? We can keep imagining the impossible; however, in some ways, money really is growing “from” trees. But of course, not in the way that we really want it to. So what could be second best to that?

Of course it is Super Mario that comes to the rescue once again. I sure wouldn’t mind coming home from work to find that there is a Coin Block hanging on the wall every once in a while. Punch that block and “Ka-Ching,” coins come flying out of it like it was the most natural thing in the world.

However, that won’t happen anytime soon either, so we’re stuck with the conventional ways of making money… hard work and clever investing. Well, wait! There is a way to make one of those Coin Blocks to grace that wall of yours. All you need to do is to follow the instructions over at Instructables and you should be all set. Punch the Coin Block, and you’ll be rewarded. However, it is your own money… but you’re half way there. So just invite your grandma or grandpa to come over, and you will be sure to get some coins from that thing that you haven’t put in there yourself. See, use the oldest trick in the book, the sad puppy eyes trick. Always works. #OrNot!
