When I was in Bangkok, Thailand a couple of years ago, I had the opportunity to experience their wonderful and exciting culture. One thing that was quite amazing was that we saw a lot of vendors who were selling fried insects. I stopped by one of the carts to see what was being served. One interesting fact about these creatures is that they are high in protein and low in saturated fat. So if you get the munchies, these edible toasted goodies might be the best for you, especially if you are watching the carbs and fat in your diet.
