Ink Riders: Beautiful Surfing Lego Figurines Photo Series

I almost can’t even remember when cameras were below 4 mega pixels. Back then we thought the detail was amazing. Until new technology hit the market, we were all amazed to just have digital cameras in the first place. With the sharpness that we can get now with the always increasing number of pixels per inch in our cameras, we are venturing into a whole new area where people are getting ever more creative. What we don’t understand most of the time is that with the technology getting more powerful everyday, the only thing holding us back is actually our own creativity and imaginations. Whenever that runs out, that’s when we’ll need to take another step into the unknown landscape of technology.

The Italian artist and photographer Albert Seveso is one of those people who is always looking to take technology where it has never been before. He wants to stretch the boundaries of what’s real and what our brains are capable of understanding. This seems to be the backbone of this ultimately talented person, and I am one of his fans when it comes to many pieces of his artwork.

Take the Ink Riders for example. It’s a series of photos that will have you asking yourself whether or not these are real. Are they really photographed or are they actually created in Photoshop or perhaps through some 3D Software? The answer to that question is that these Lego figurines really were captured at just the right time. That’s all there really is to it. It’s amazing isn’t it?
