I’ve always wondered whether or not dogs, cats and other animals ever find something funny and then laugh out loud. We all know that dogs wag their tails when they are happy. I’ve even seen my dog smile (really, I have) but I’ve never heard him laugh.
Today, after reading this article on Earth Sky, I am now convinced that animals can laugh. Studies from Bowling Green State University even confirm that dogs are capable of complex emotions like fear, anger, joy, and sadness. Although, some sources still question the validity of that information.
