Mini Lego Dudes by PIXAR Animator Angus MacLane

Is there anything that can’t be created with Lego bricks? I mean, seriously, we’ve seen it all, haven’t we? Now even PIXAR animator Angus MacLane has officially joined the ranks of those people that are obsessed with Lego. He loves those colorful bricks so much that he’s recently created an entire series of creations called CubeDudes.

These mini Lego characters are just so cute to me! I would love to be able to display them on a shelf in my office. In case you were wondering, it only takes him about 10-15 minutes to build one CubeDude. He makes about two each day. His favorite creation so far is Robocop. You can read a fascinating interview with Angus here. He wishes that Lego would expand their color palette though. He’s eagerly awaiting more purple Lego bricks so he can build Lex Luther, The Joker and Grimace. Wow, I never realized before how many villains are purple!
