What a creative twist on a classic puzzle! Most of us know what it’s like to dump a big box of cardboard jigsaw puzzle pieces onto a table and start putting them together. Do you have a puzzle strategy that works best for you? I usually start by finding all the corner and outer edge pieces, and I put those together first. I know some people who start by choosing pieces with the same colors and putting those together first.
With this puzzle, the strategy for assembling it might be a little different. This is a pixel puzzle, and each piece represents a great big pixel. This puzzle, called the puxxle, was created by two sisters who have been playing with puzzles their whole lives.
The really neat thing about this puzzle is that not only does it come with instructions for how to assemble it; it also has a sticky adhesive backing on each piece, so the puzzle can be put together on almost any surface. Depending on the puzzle you choose, it comes with 210 – 583 pieces. They range in price from $24 – $59. You can learn more about them at puxxle. I can think of a lot of people (especially pixel-loving designers) who might really have fun with this!
