Rat Convention: Yes, There Really Is One

There are a lot of different, weird, odd and crazy conventions out there for sure. There are some that I would never have thought existed until someone told me about them. Well, luckily I am not visiting too many of them since I’d rather sit here and write articles for you guys. Yes, imagine that! But seriously, some conventions are just too out there for me to even grasp. For a long time, pretty much everyone didn’t like rats, right? Well, as it turns out, there are people who REALLY do like them. I am not saying they are pests, wait, they are, I think. The thing is, they are rapidly becoming the new lap dog. I am sure it won’t be long until we’ll see Paris Hilton carrying around a fully clothed rat in public. Wouldn’t that be first page news?

Well, for all of you who have been looking for other rat-minded people, I am happy to announce that there is a whole convention dedicated to them. And it is some major stuff, I tell you. The things they make for rats are just unbelievable, and I am continuously scratching my head because of it. Sure, it’s a hobby like anything else, but rats? Is that really the best thing they could come up with to create all this attention?

The convention named Fancy Rat Convention is a place for rat fashion designers and art providers to show off their stuff and possibly find new customers. So if you’re one of the people who is petting a rat right at this very moment, why don’t you look it up? It is held in New York, and even though I don’t know how many people attend the event, it sounds like there are quite a lot. Bring on the rats, at least there should never be a shortage of them. Hmm… Find out more about on Nikki Moustaki‘s website.
