Uber Fan Has Real Hobbit House Designed & Built By Architect

Most of us dream of a home that will make us feel warm and cozy. We all have different ideas about what would make that happen, and there’s no doubt some of these ideas are more out there than others. We have seen it before in the Star Trek bachelor pad that Diana wrote about some time ago. We also saw it in the giant tree house which pretty much defies all laws of physics. But people’s longing for the unique usually exceeds any imaginable creation that either you or I might find sane. When it comes to creative living, there are people out in our beautiful world who want to take on the imaginary world of fiction. A house is a house no matter how you look at it. For a J.R.R. Tolkien fan, the journey continued to a real Hobbit house.

This Hobbit house is actually a lifelong dream come true. Designed and built by architect Peter Archer for a fan who has been a fan of the father of the Hobbit, this Hobbit house is meant to hold the insane amount of Middle Earth memorabilia he has collected. This Hobbit house is a 600-foot home which is located no too far from the owner’s real home.

For the collector, this Hobbit home represents solitude and a place where he can retire whenever he wants to spend some time pouring over old books and breathing the smell of pipe weed. It’s not uncommon that people take their fandom to extreme and wonderful levels, but when it comes to fandom, I am quite sure few will go to the lengths that the owner of this Hobbit house went to. The simple life of a Hobbit can of course be quite appealing to a lot of us, but it’s when it becomes reality that you really know life is meant to be lived the way the soul wants to be comforted. Whether it is in a Hobbit house or a huge mansion by the sea is of course an individual choice. Now let yourself be mesmerized by the serenity of this Hobbit house which will surely put a lasting memory in our minds.
