Recycled Metal Yoda Turns Scrap Into Collectibles

The number of websites dealing with collectibles on the Internet has gone through the roof, and they are getting ever more popular. There are of course a wide variety of categories when it comes to collectibles, and finding the right place to find, buy and sell them can be a jungle. However, if you’re just looking to check them out, one of the most popular collectible profiles on Pinterest is Sqrall (founded by Alan Firmin). It’s a brand new collectible community website with over 1.6 million followers on Pinterest. Sqrall has a large variety of Star Wars collectibles and has a pinboard that is jam packed with all kinds of good stuff. However, when it comes to recycled metal Star Wars collectibles, I haven’t seen too much.

Recycling can be executed in a whole lot of different ways, but taking what we usually throw away and creating something lasting with it is the ultimate challenge it seems. A unique approach that the company Art From Steel has undertaken is to recycle metal into impressive collectibles. One of my favorite creations from this creative entity on the Internet is a recent one portraying Yoda.

It’s a hand crafted creation that incorporates nuts, screws, bolts and all kinds of recycled metal. Some are huge and would be perfect for your bookcase. They are all carefully put together and sometimes look to be modeled in a 3D software. The recycled metal Yoda creation is of course made available should you feel the need to purchase it. However, it won’t come cheap since the particular one that I like is priced at $299.99. But there are several other recycled metal Yodas available. Should you not be fully locked in on the Yoda collectibles, there are hundreds more to choose from. There’s everything from the Predator to Star Wars. All you really need to do is browse the recycled metal creation categories, and I am sure you will find what you are looking for.
