Star Wars Steampunk: From A Whole Nother Perspective

This Star Wars siege must have been deeper in me than I initially thought. I urge you to keep reading since this one will truly mess with the essentials of the whole Star Wars genre. We have seen quite a few Star Wars modifications, creations and designs by now, and we’re always on them like they were the next cool thing to follow.

The point is, Star Wars seems to constantly evolve into something bigger, more multi-faceted and more inspirational for each and every new approach that is conceived. You can look at it like the Lord of The Rings in a way. When J. R. R. Tolkien wrote the book (which was later divided into three books), he meant for the world to evolve by having people add to the story. It’s somewhat like what happens with Star Wars these days. New and interesting approaches give the Star Wars world a bigger and badder history in a way.

Eric Poulton, Star Wars fanatic and Steampunk extractor, has his own little way of looking at Star Wars. It’s way different than anything you have seen before, I am quite sure of it. His playful approach to the Steampunk genre is not only inspirational, but it’s also fresh and a little freaky if you ask me. I especially like the oddness in his way of portraying Darth Vader and the Death Star. It’s brilliant and way out there.

There have been many Steampunk customizations of Star Wars, and there is no telling when we’ll see the end of it. This one is truly on top of my list along with the ones that Sillof created which we’ve featured here on Bit Rebels a couple of times. You don’t have to be a Star Wars fanatic to see the beauty in these creations and art pieces. The contribution they’ve made to the Star Wars community is beyond marveling when you think about the amount of time it must have taken to fully complete these sets of awesomeness. So to Eric, I extend great admiration for a job well done. We here at Bit Rebels truly look forward to more of your creative inspiration.
