The Escape: Portal 2 Recreated In Lego

Someone told me once that you should never start an article with a question, but this time I kind of have to. Did I ever play Portal? Did I ever play Portal 2? The answer for those two questions is definitely no. I have only been exposed to the game through the countless trailers, spoofs and relentless advertising online as well as offline. But I have to say that the game looks insanely cool, and the graphics are some of the best I have seen. There is a culture around the game that is growing by the minute, and just like with other successful concepts, it’s starting to take its own form.

Star Wars has been mashed up with countless different successful concepts, and so has Lego. However this time, it’s time to let Lego take on an all new form. This is a form we haven’t seen before, but that will have you playing with Lego in no time. Obviously people have taken a huge notice of the game, and the success just keeps growing. Flickr user The Awesome One 24 took notice and created a series of images that portrays the escape in inspiring Lego.

The builds, which are not too complicated, even have me wanting to play the game, so I guess I will have to check it out at some point. But for now, I am just going to keep looking at these Lego build images and play some more Portal Tetris. It’s certainly going to have me busy for quite a while, so I am not to worry. When things are a little less busy, I am going to sit my butt down and face the horrors of the supercomputer GLaDOS.
