Unbelievable Star Trek Themed Home Movie Theater

As a geek, you are probably quite inspired by either Star Trek or Star Wars (or possibly both) when you go about life in your own geeky way. You have more than once probably taken your flip-phone (back in the ’90s) and opened it only to say, “Scotty! Beam me up!” or even, “Luke, I am your father!” in you best Darth Vader voice. I think the latter was actually voted the most popular movie line that people randomly say. Weird? It depends on how you look at it. I mean, the voice that James Earl Jones gave Darth Vader is probably the most epic voice any movie character has ever been given.

However, if you find yourself bored with walking around like a lunatic quoting movies wherever you go, maybe it’s time to hook yourself up with a new home movie theater. Have a look at this lucky guy’s newly completed Star Trek themed home movie theater. It is designed by ESC and has to be the geekiest addition to any home, at least this year. There is no word how much it cost to put it together, but I think we can safely say it’s not for the slim wallets.

The client’s criteria were ultimately specific, which resulted in one of the world’s most sophisticated and technologically advanced home movie theaters ever built. One requirement was that the client should be able to watch movies on a ridiculously high volume, which of course meant that the sound proofing costs are way more than any other home movie theater. When I look at this thing, I am amazed at the level of geekery that must inhabit the client. You don’t just go full on Star Trek if you’re not a total fan of the show. That is probably an epic understatement to say the least. What theme would you go for if you had the possibility to create your very own home movie theater?
