Weird Gadgets: Flame Throwing Trombone

When people decide to create something new and original, whether it be a new invention or just a mod of something already existing, they usually go for something at least moderately understandable. I mean, for example, people may turn a cellphone into something steampunk or maybe even a clock into the ultimate remote control clicker. However, when they start doing stuff that is beyond all understanding, that’s when things get real interesting… and weird!

Jonathan Crawford took an ordinary trombone and made it into a extraordinary flame throwing killer trombone. What is it for? I don’t have the slightest idea, but that doesn’t matter really. It’s the coolest thing since the invention of the wheel. Wouldn’t it be awesome to have this when you’re playing in the school band? You would totally own!

The best part about it all is that Jonathan can still play it. It’s not modified in the way that it would break any vital sounding parts, which would obscure or even prohibit it from sounding quite good. Maybe it is not something that you will consider getting for your kid who just started playing an instrument, or maybe it would be. One thing is for sure, he or she would definitely think that starting to play an instrument just got a heck of a lot more interesting.
