I think it’s always fun to write about pimped out technology. This time I’m not referring to it being pimped out in features, but rather pimped out in sparkling diamonds. Unless it’s a special occasion, I’m not much of a bling bling kind of girl, but to some people, everything has to be luxurious, even their iPad!
I remember when I wrote about the iPhone case that costs over $108,000. At the time, I thought that was a lot. However, this iPad, which is worth $1.2 million dollars, definitely makes that iPhone case look like chump change.
According to Luxury Launches, “This iPad is ornamented with 1kg 18 carat gold and 300 carat flawless diamonds. The home button and backside features black diamonds.” The designer of this super fabulous iPad is Camael Diamonds. It is part of a collection that also includes smartphones and iPods. Each piece is inspected and certified by an accredited jeweler. Wow, I suppose that means if you owned this iPad you’d want to get it insured, right? Would you buy this if you had a spare $1.2 million dollars? Hmm… I don’t think I would.
Hey, if you decide to get yourself this iPad, you might as well buy some of the most expensive iPad apps to go with it, don’t you agree? You can check some of those out in this PC Magazine article Three $1,000 Apps Vie for “Most Expensive iPad App.”
