When summer drops its arms around our everyday chores, we tend to throw ourselves at its mercy. We tend to get all up in everything that has to do with summer. We buy the latest gear, new sunscreen and ice cream, not to mention how we throw out everything that we wore during winter since we seemingly can’t wait to get to a store fast enough to stock up on the latest summer fashions, no matter what they cost. Our wallets are at the mercy of the summer just like we are. God forbid we wouldn’t have the latest swimming trunks or bikinis. That would be a sin worthy of the greatest punishment, to be ridiculed by the rest of the society.

Well, it might not be that bad. Sometimes I think we make a castle out of thin air even though we have it all around us, if you know what I mean. However, if you should feel that wearing sneakers during your stay at the beach is like holding onto winter for dear life, you should keep reading. If you feel like walking down the beach in just your flip-flops is wasted energy, and it doesn’t fit your fashion profile then by all means you are going to love this invention.

It so happens that some genius designer came up with a new concept for sneakers… or is it flip-flops. Well, it is actually both! They equipped a pair of sneakers with a zipper so you can easily skip around in your sneakers until you feel the heat of the summer is too much to bear. Then just unzip the zippers and voila, you have your flip-flops right there. There’s no need to choose anymore whether you should pick the sneakers or the flip-flops when you leave home. Take them both with you and become your own boss over the summer. I have no idea where you can buy these. I guess they are either ordered over the Internet if you can find them, or they are available in select stores around the world. I am sure there are plenty more to choose from as well. This is just a collection of the ones I could find that totally keep the cool within the geek. Once again, we marvel over the concept of all-in-one.
