Wow, this is the most delicious looking mashup I’ve seen in a while. Since today is Dr. Seuss’ birthday, and it’s also the opening day for the movie The Lorax (based on the classic Dr. Seuss book), I thought it would be appropriate to write about something special to celebrate our beloved Dr. Seuss.
As has happened before, I found exactly what I was looking for on the Sugars Swings website. Not only did she create something to celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday and his movie, she added marshmallow peeps to the mix since tis the season for those sugary treats.
She calls these Dr. Seuss Peep Pops, and they are basically marshmallow peeps put on a stick, dipped in chocolate and then decorated. She used edible food markers for the decorations. Please click over to Dr. Seuss Peep Pops to see all the delicious details. Dr. Seuss was a very special part of my childhood, and to this day, there is a lot of wisdom in those words he wrote. I’m so happy that children today will be able to experience him on the big screen with this new movie based on one of my favorite stories. Thank you Sugar Swings!
