Rockley beach is the largest in the area and is a picture-perfect crescent of sand. You can laze around or enjoy a great walk on the beach backed by shade trees. Paynes Bay is endlessly popular because of its calm waters. Fringed by an excellent stretch of sand, it is one of the best spots for swimming and snorkeling. This is your chance to see the sea turtles and marine life. Another popular beach is Bottom Bay that is blessed with beautiful stretches of sand and translucent turquoise waters. The eastern building houses the Senate and House of Assembly while the western building contains public offices. Learn about the island’s democratic heritage at the museum.
