Magic Windows: Tweet 24/7 Without Getting Exhausted

It’s widely known that I am a twitterholic without any regard whatsoever for getting that necessary sleep that everyone is talking about. I have way too much fun tweeting and the amount of knowledge I receive from Twitter every day is just mind numbing at times. I wouldn’t want to be doing anything else and I wouldn’t want to do it any other way. However, there is one thing that sometimes bugs me. That is that when the sun occasionally shows it’s face on a clear blue sky, the hours work against me and before you know it, the sun is going down and the world gets dark again.

That’s all fine, but I’d rather it be bright outside so that I could just have that day:ish kind of energy all the time. Before it was impossible, but I have found something that might make that problem go away.

It’s the “Winscape” from designer Ryan Hogland. It’s a pair of windows that acts as seamless screens. By placing them on your wall in your living room, for example, and then hooking them up to the computer system hidden in another room, you get an experience that is too cool to just write about. By wearing a location device hooked up to the computer that runs a software to constantly put you in the right angle of the window, it moves the images/videos on the screen. When you move closer to the window, you see more of the landscape “outside,” just like a real window. You can move around and the image/movie will follow you, enabling you to look around the corner of the window and experience the exact same thing you would in real life, seeing more of the landscape behind the corners.

Imagine having this little thing in your office, considering you work as much as I do, then you wouldn’t have to feel tired ever again because your mind goes -“Oh, it’s getting dark, better stop working.” Nope, all you have to do is install these puppies and believe that the sun has gotten stuck in your sky only.

If you don’t want to build your own Winscape solution you can have Rational Craft help you build it. Winscape is available in July and will cost around $3,000. Hurry up and get your own because you can be sure the line will be insane! Now, where’s my wiimote??
