The Periodic Table Of Muppet Characters For Muppet Fans Everywhere

The Muppet characters are full of nostalgia and happiness. Usually people are either muppet fanatics, or they don’t like the Muppets at all. I don’t understand why anyone wouldn’t like them though. Gizmodo Australia put it nicely when an author there wrote, “you have to be a special kind of insane to not have a fondness for the Muppets.”

With all the technology kids are exposed to today, they’ll probably never appreciate Miss Piggy and Kermit as much as we did, but that’s okay. This periodic table of Muppets will teach them everything they need to know about Muppets. This chart is more like a classification guide since it’s so jam-packed with Muppet-pertinent information. Even if you don’t know anything about the Muppets, you will learn more than you ever wanted to know by just looking at this chart.

It was created by Mike Boon from Mike BaBoon Design. According to Mike’s website, “Each square represents a different character and indicates the primary Muppeteer(s) for that character, as well as the year and production in which the character made its debut. Borders align with hair/hat color, background aligns with skin/fur color, and the color of the abbreviated name represents nose color (for Muppet characters with noses that is).”

If you would like to get a copy of this for yourself, you can pick one up over at Society6 for $18. What I like about this is that he didn’t just include the popular Muppet characters (i.e. Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Scooter, the Swedish chef, etc.), but he included them all. There are even ones on here you might not remember. I could get lost in this chart. It brings back so many memories. The little eyeballs on this chart are priceless. There is something about this that is just so warm and fuzzy, just like a Muppet should be. Enjoy!
