Sugar Cubes Carved Into A Skull & Bones To Make Your Coffee Sweeter

If you are a big coffee or tea drinker, you might enjoy adding a little sweetness to your hot beverage. This is such a great twist on the ordinary, boring sugar packets we normally see in coffee shops. These are sugar cubes carved into very detailed skulls and bones. What a creative idea, and a fun way to add a little sweetness to any one of your favorite drinks. These would be an appreciated addition in any restaurant or even at home. They are almost too pretty to eat.

Can you imagine if someone slipped one of these sugar cube skulls into your coffee or tea without you knowing? You’d just see a skull float to the top and dissolve. That would be awesome. What a great way to make a coffee break more interesting. These carved sugar cubes are part of a project created by Snow Violent called Sugar Skulls. It all started out as just a sketch of a quirky idea, but then it became a real prototype of carved sugar cubes. Unfortunately, these aren’t something we can just go buy at the store right now.

Maybe these creative sugar cube carvings will inspire other creative artists to carve their own sugar cube designs. Imagine having a whole bowl of different sugar cube carvings to choose from each morning when you sit down to have your coffee or tea.

It’s a great reminder about how wonderful real sugar is. I mean, I know sugar overall isn’t good for us, but it still beats all the fake stuff that’s out there. I thought Splenda was okay until I read an article earlier this month here on the Huffington Post that pretty much said that stuff can contribute to causing diabetes. I guess real sugar in small quantities is the only safe way to go.
