It’s Friday, and that means it’s almost time to start celebrating another weekend! However, if you are like us here at Bit Rebels, you are very focused and dedicated every day of the week, not just Monday through Friday. Sometimes, for me, the only thing that really separates the week from the weekend is the few minutes each Friday night when I step away from the computer to enjoy a cold beer.
Beer is an American tradition, and I write about it a lot on Bit Rebels. Based on all the designs and contraptions we’ve seen that are created to make our beer consumption a more enjoyable experience, there are a lot of people who are inspired by their evening brewski.
It’s always fun to choose which kind of beer to drink, isn’t it? If it’s been a profitable, successful week, then a full-fat, full-calorie, man’s beer is right up my alley. If I didn’t quite meet my goals, and I’m just taking a quick break before getting back to work, then a dainty little 8oz. low-carb beer will do the trick. And, of course, when out with friends, since a bottle of beer is almost a fashion accessory, whatever is popular at the moment is just fine.
Have you ever stopped to think about all the different kinds of strange and unusual beers that are created? There are a ton of them. I was checking out this article today on Oddee about bizarre beers. Did you know there is a pizza beer, a beer with a Braillefor the blind, and even a “healthy” vitamin enriched beer? I also saw a type of beer that is $110 a bottle! Of all the strange beers I’ve seen, probably the most unusual one is this beer for dogs that I wrote about several months ago. It’s intelligently called Dog Beer. I mean, really?
If you are interested in checking out some other strange (and strong) beers, I found this informative infographic created by Term Life Insurance. (By the way, have you ever noticed that insurance companies create the coolest infographics? Why is that? I smell some research coming up on this topic. Stay tuned.) Of all the beers listed on here, I think I’d like to try the chocolate donut beer the most. It’s 4am here now, but I’m sure it’s beer-o-clock somewhere in the world, right? Nom nom!
