What Do You Want In 2011? You Can Make It Happen!

I know that title is bold, but I believe 100% without any doubt that it is true. However, we all have lessons to learn along the way, and there are no shortcuts to success. We all know that, right?

For me personally, I want to be wealthy in 2011. What does wealthy mean to me? It’s very different from just being rich. I know people who have their finances in order, but their relationships are shallow and unfulfilling, and that is not wealthy to me. I know other people who have amazing relationships, but they are always broke, and that is not wealthy to me either. Of course, there is also a spiritual aspect that is important.

For me, I want it all, which means to be wealthy. In other words, I want to have my finances, my relationships and my spiritual growth all in alignment and moving forward. I am very committed to this goal, and I am making changes in my life right now to make sure I’m headed in the right direction.

What do you want? How do you feel when you ask yourself that question? Do you feel excited? Do you feel a lump in your throat? Do you feel uneasy? I know we go through so much crap to get where we want to be in life. I’ve been there, and I’m still going through those rough patches. However, I want to promise you, if you allow yourself to go through the process, to learn the lessons and trust and believe in yourself, you WILL get where you want to go.

One thing I’ve noticed is that the closer I get to my goals, the higher my inspiration and energy is. I know from experience that success requires a high level of energy and intention. Success does not grow from feelings of desperation. Never forget that you are much more significant than the bills that come in your mailbox. As Warren Buffett says, “If you can’t manage your emotions, don’t ever expect to manage your money.” Feel “wealthy” first (whatever that means for you), and the money comes second.

However, we all have those days when we feel like it’s never going to happen. I would like to share with you a few audio lessons that have helped me so much through the past few years. Whenever I feel like I need a pick-me-up or a reminder of things I already know deep in my soul, I listen to one of these audios by Dr. Ellie Drake. I hope they will be as helpful for you as they have been for me.

Each title is linked to the audio file:
The Art of Desire
Think About Money in an Abundant Way
How to Release Mental Static
Does Mind Chatter Get in Your Way?
The Importance of Being Consistent

Work hard, stay consistent, stay connected to your purpose and never give up! You will be stretched, you will grow, and at times you will be very uncomfortable. I go through this all the time. Just remember, whatever doesn’t kill you will only make you stronger. I want you to know that nothing is impossible. Watch this 19-second video, and you’ll know that what I’m saying is true!
