This is an exciting time in the history of smartphones, and it’s only going to get better. People often try to determine which is the best smartphone on the market, but in my humble opinion, they are all good right now. You really can’t make a bad decision when it comes to which smartphone to get. The Apple iPhone 5S has some nice features, but people keep talking about how amazing the Samsung Galaxy S4 is. I have an iPhone 5 right now, but I plan to upgrade soon.
It would be a huge change for me to switch to an Android phone, but others have done it and survived, so I think I’d be fine. This infographic called Apple iPhone 5S vs. Samsung Galaxy S4 (by maxabout.com) shows a side-by-side comparison of both smartphones. Maxabout.com also published a comprehensive review of each phone. You can click over to Apple iPhone 5S or Samsung Galaxy S4 to read those.
One of the biggest reasons why iPhone users used to be hesitant to switch to an Android phone was because of the number of apps. Android just couldn’t compete. That isn’t the case anymore. Now there are about 900,000 iOS apps and about 858,000 Android apps.
One of the things that makes me giggle about this infographic is that the person who designed it listed “No FM radio” as a disadvantage to both phones. Whoever that person is, he or she must be an iPod fan. The FM radio feature on my new iPod is one of my favorites, as strange as that might sound. So if you, like me, are in the market for a new smartphone, hopefully this infographic will help you make your decision. I still haven’t made up my mind…
