Bridesmaid Comes To Wedding… On An iPad

Well, I guess that’s one way to get the entire world to see your wedding video. When did buying an iPad, a webcam, and getting it all set up become cheaper than flying from Virginia to Denver anyway?

Jamie invited Renee to be a bridesmaid in her wedding. Since Renee didn’t have the cash to buy the planet ticket to really attend, she walked down the aisle, stood next to Jamie and even got tears in her eyes after she heard the vows…. all on an iPad. I feel really sorry for the dude that had to carry her around the whole time, err… I mean carry the iPad around. I can hear it now, “I can’t see, move me to the left, more to the right, hold me up above that person’s head.

I have so many questions about this. If you attend a wedding via iPad do you still have to get all dressed up? Surely you wouldn’t have to buy any fancy shoes. We all deserve one day in a lifetime, called our wedding day, when our friends have to be completely inconvenienced, buy us expensive gifts and act like they love it. Isn’t this kind of cheating? I know; I figured it out. This whole thing was orchestrated to take attention of the bride’s green hair, right? Nah… I’m just joshing about that. I like it actually. I had pink hair extensions once, but I never had the balls to wear them to a wedding.

This story made it all the way to The Ellen DeGeneres Show website, so ya’ll must be doing something right. Most importantly, we at Bit Rebels wish you a happy marriage full of sunshine and smiles for your whole life. If it doesn’t work out, I’m sure you can attend your divorce hearing via iPad. In all seriousness, I’m sure as time goes on, we’ll see more examples of how people all over the world are creatively using video chat technology to celebrate special occasions.
