How To Create Custom Vibration Patterns On Your iPhone

We all know about the various customizations of the iPhone’s ringtones and alarms, right? Since the beginning of the era of the cell phone, we have been able to personalize our ringtone to almost a ridiculous extent, but that has been about it really. The iPhone has incorporated many new features over the years, but when it comes to ringtones and customizations around that, little more has been done. I am not exactly sure there is even anymore to be done when it comes to this particular customization. The funny thing is that when it comes to putting your phone on vibration, the choices have pretty much been on or off. What few people know is that a feature was introduced in iOS5 that enables us to create our own custom vibration patterns.

I am sure some of you already know this, but for most people, this is something they haven’t heard of before. It’s nothing that has been widely spoken about until now. In order to allow you to create your custom vibration, I have found a tutorial that will take you through the process. You will be prompted with a tap screen on which you tap your desired custom vibration and then save it. It’s quite simple, and when you’re done, you can have your very own custom vibration for everyone who calls you.

This way, you don’t even have to pick up your phone from your pocket to see who is calling you when it is on silent. That’s an annoying thing that you always had to do when you turned your phone on silent in the past, which in itself defeats the purpose, right? Well, you don’t have to do that anymore. All you need to do is follow this tutorial put together by iOS Advice. I can see the use of custom vibrations becoming a huge deal in people’s everyday lives. I mean, it’s much more logical to put your iPhone on vibrate and have each profile in your phone book have their own custom vibration. It just makes a whole lot more sense to me.
