Digital Polaroid Camera Reinvents Instant Photo Printing

Not too long ago, it was announced that Polaroid would stop making their Polaroid instant film. The reaction to that news was almost unmeasurable. This made Polaroid rethink their strategy and instead started innovating, which is something that was widely speculated about and resulted in quite a few interesting concept designs that were unfortunately never realized. What Polaroid managed to put together was nothing less than an amazing digital Polaroid camera almost too good to be true.

It’s called the Polaroid Z2300 Instant Digital Camera, and it will make even the most retrofied Polaroid fan drool. This ultra slim camera has a straightforward and simple interface which allows you to take digital images. From those, you choose which ones should be printed as a Polaroid pictures. Every scrap book creator knows how important the Polaroid camera is, and this should come as a welcomed tool. All you need to do now is point and shoot and then edit your photo before you print it. Think of it as your instant Instagram filter applier.

This digital Polaroid camera retails for just around $240.00 (white or black) and should be a great addition to any photographer’s gadget park. The pictures themselves infuse a sense of style and retroness that a normal digital camera just can’t capture. The digital Polaroid camera is a 10 megapixel camera that produces 2 x 3-inch prints that are also stickers in about 30 seconds. The original Polaroid camera was a bit quicker printing the pictures, but with this digital Polaroid camera, you don’t have to shake the prints – which for some people might be a downgrade. The “shake” was a sure sign that someone had taken a photo and was now awaiting the result. For this new digital Polaroid camera, those days are gone. The good thing is that this way, you will surely get great pictures every time. The tray only holds 10 prints, so it’s definitely a good thing as otherwise you could probably spend all of those without getting any good results at all.
