Drobo Giveaway Winners Announcement

It’s been a little over a week, and the contestants have been rolling in steadily on our Drobo giveaway. It seems these two devices are quite hot tamales for most people, and the reasons why you guys wanted them were wide and many. It’s interesting, and of course sad, how many of you have lost entire libraries of photographs and content due to failing hard drives, and that’s exactly why these things exist. We really wish we had one Drobo for each and every one of you; however, that is of course not the case. We had to narrow the whole thing down to two lucky winners who will receive a Drobo in the coming days.

We’ve been going over all your entries and have finally managed to come up with two winners that we think are more than qualified to receive these badboys. Before we get into all that, I just want to thank you all for participating in this giveaway. We’ve felt honored and truly humbled to be able to partner with Drobo, and who knows, maybe we’ll have a couple more to give out in the future. We’ll see what we can do about that, but you can be sure that we’ll have many great and interesting giveaways coming up, so don’t feel discouraged if you were not chosen as a winner in this one. Alright, let’s get into the exciting part and announce the two winners.

GIAN FAYE

With a sincere and honest approach to her problem, Gian gave a creative explanation about why she badly needs a Drobo. We decided she would be a good caretaker to one of these devices. We are sure this Drobo is going to be put to good use, and we hope we’ll hear (and see) just how it changes things where Gian is producing her creativity.

ANNIE SELLS

(Arkansas Association of Two-Year Colleges)
We are big believers in charity, so we decided that a Drobo just had to go to a place where we would know it would come to good use for many people. Charities can never be endorsed enough, so this time around, we’re pulling our little straw to the stack thanks to Drobo. We hope to hear about its use, and we hope it will be an appreciated addition to this great cause.

To both of our winners, we want to say congratulations and ask that you please keep us in the loop about how this device performs, and whether or not it simplifies things for you. For all you others who entered the giveaway, there will be more great stuff coming up that you will be able to win, all for free. Stay tuned and keep visiting us for your daily dose of geekiness and bite sized news. We’re here for you, and with your every return to our website, we get more inspired to give you even more geeky stuff. Thank you guys! We truly appreciate all of you!
